Description
OverviewThe Wanderers Club is one of the premier family facilities in South Florida. The golf course was redesigned by Peter Jacobsen & Jim Hardy in 2007. Presently, there are over 350 golf members who play 17,000 rounds per year. Reopening after 6 months of closure for greens renovation, the course is expected to be better than ever. The club has a large driving range that doubles as a Polo field at times during season and two short game practice facilities. Located in Palm Beach County, in the heart of North America's premier Equestrian Community, the club combines the best of both golf and equestrian lifestyles.

We're looking for a Player Services Manager who is passionate about leadership, customer service, and creating a positive work environment.
Experience Required
- Proven Leadership: Experience leading and motivating a team in a customer-focused environment within the golf industry. You know how to build a strong, cohesive team that works well under pressure.
- Exceptional Customer Service Skills: A genuine passion for serving others and ensuring their experience is nothing short of excellent. You understand the importance of creating memorable moments for guests and ensuring they feel valued.
- Team Builder: You know how to cultivate a positive, supportive work culture. You're a coach, a mentor, and someone who can help others grow in their roles.
- Strong Communication Skills: You communicate clearly and effectively with your team, other departments, and guests, always with professionalism and respect.
- Operational Awareness: You have a solid understanding of outside operations, including managing staff, maintaining equipment, and ensuring that all activities run smoothly.
- Ability to Stay Calm Under Pressure: You excel in fast-paced environments and can handle multiple tasks without compromising the quality of service.
- Flexibility & Availability: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Knowledge and passion for golf.
Essential Responsibilities
As the Player Services Manager, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming, professional, and efficient environment for our members and guests. You'll lead a dedicated team of outside service staff, ensuring that every interaction reflects the high standards of our club. Your leadership will directly impact guest satisfaction, team performance, and the overall guest experience.
- Lead by Example: Inspire and motivate our team to provide top-tier customer service. You'll foster a positive, collaborative, and high-energy environment.
- Team Building & Development: Hire, train, and mentor your team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to succeed. You'll be hands-on in their development, providing regular feedback and opportunities for growth.
- Exceptional Customer Service: Create an outstanding first impression for guests and ensure their needs are met with professionalism and enthusiasm. You'll be the go-to problem-solver, addressing any guest concerns and going above and beyond to deliver memorable experiences.
- Operational Efficiency: Oversee the day-to-day outside operations, ensuring the golf carts, driving range, and equipment are always clean, well-maintained, and fully stocked. Your attention to detail will keep the flow of operations running smoothly.
- Coordinate & Collaborate: Work closely with the golf operations team to align on daily goals and special events. You'll be instrumental in managing the first tee, supporting tournament and group outing needs, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
