Business & Enterprise-wide Strategic Transformation (Non-IT)

Our client is a reputable Conglomerate Group with diversify businesses largely focusing on retail, hospitality, entertainment, property / building development projects. As part of strategic growth and new transformation initiatives, a newly created Group Business Transformation function was recently established and seeking a couple of experienced Business Transformation Professionals to join the Group function, based in Hong Kong, covering projects in Hong Kong and China.
The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:
Part of the Group Business Strategic Transformation CoE function supporting business and enterprise-wide transformations initiatives across a designated portfolio of businesses
Define and design transformation strategies, engaging with business units on ideas generation, identify actionable changes and innovation opportunities
Design transformation structures, set up approach, workstreams and project teams, guide the business and support units to deliver and execute the transformation initiatives
Provide oversight on a portfolio of key transformation initiatives across one or more business pillars from initiation and pre-execution stage, establishing the project team, resource identification, coaching project teams from planning to kick-start the project implementation & delivery
Assist in the design of new operating models and process improvement, enabling efficiency and adoption of modern / agile practices
Support monitoring and reporting to keep milestones on track, maintain KPI and documentation updates, and ensure adherence to the execution and governance framework
Lead cross-function teams to deliver the transformation initiatives while monitoring the projects and programs progress, alert of issues identified and facilitate mitigation solutions
Recommend project initiatives, forecast upcoming demands, provide project financial analysis and planning, transfer ideas between the individual business units and the wider group, articulate ideas into execution priorities and action plans
Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:
Degree qualified with a project management certifications / qualifications
Minimum 10 - 15 years experience in Business Transformation, Enterprise Transformation, Operation Process & Framework Design, Target Operating Model Design, Process Re-engineering, Operational Efficiency and / or Business Optimization
Open to Management Consulting firms or Commercial experience from a diverse range of industries / sector exposure provided the projects were complex, cross-functional and large in scale
Familiarity in Agile ways of working, other project management or process improvement methodologies
Proven project management / PMO skills gained from a sizeable organization
Excellent communication skills with fluency in English AND Cantonese OR Mandarin
